To say that Tomahawk was taken aback would be putting it quite mildly, at the very least. He was quite uncertain exactly what would be occurring- perhaps another round of conversation with Wichàhpi Washtè- but encountering even more Spirit Beings, especially one as different as this one, was certainly something the young Sihasapa had not planned for. It appeared that Wichàhpi Washtè was calm about the whole ordeal, and this other one had not yet begun to speak. Neither of these things helped to ease the myriad of questions and bits of confusion which plagued Tomahawk at the moment.
“Wichàhpi Washtè, Kola. It is good that we meet again.” He said, nodding towards the Coyote spirit and acknowledging his words with respect.
“Hau ‘Blue Hummingbird on the Left’, I am Two-Crows. I greet you and welcome you, I give thanks that you would honor me with this visit,” He said, nodding his head towards the blue-skinned visitor. “I know that none of these things happen without any reason, so it is good that you have come- perhaps you can help me with what is troubling my heart, and perhaps I can somehow be of service to you in return.”
“Wichàhpi Washtè, I had hoped to see you again, for my heart is troubled and my mind confused. Some things are changing inside of me- strange feelings and thoughts, and memories from long past are coming up again, but not like memories, like they are happening all over again. My sight, my thoughts are overwhelmed by these ‘visions’, even so that I lose track of where I am, even when I am. I would ask for your advice in these matters, if you would help me to understand what is happening… I welcome your counsel, and also yours, Blue Hummingbird on the Left.”
