Greetings True Believers,
Thought you might be interested in knowing that Huitzilopochtli has indirectly made an appearance in Marvel Comics recently.
Ok ok, so he hasn't appeared himself, but his Temple was shown (complete with traps), and an artifact related to him called La Corona de Huitzilopochtli in the new 4-part mini series,
Ororo: Before the Storm #1.
It's hard to say what all is going to happen or what kind of role Huitzilopochtli is going to play (possibly only a side note, or simply his artifact), but a statement is made about the Corona, that "With this, the world is one step away from apocalypse..."
It would seem that he's not all the nice guy we thought he was... in Mainstream Marvel.
In case you're wondering "What's the relevance of this, eh??" Here's a tip: Huitzilopochtli already has a place in our Tribal game.
