Note that the rotor "pods" are capable of tilting, allowing the Osprey to function as both a helicopter (VTOL) and a Turboprop airplane. The one being used in Mission X has been modified to include small (but potent) jet engines affixed along the body towards the rear, utilizing the wings in fixed position for stabilization. Upon landing, the wings themselves can rotate along the length of the body, allowing for better concealment possibilities.
