Lobster Johnson was a pulp hero much in the same vein as Doc Savage or The Shadow. His war cry was: "Here is the claw!" The official stance of the U.S. government is that The Lobster was a fictional character, created in the pulp magazines, made popular briefly by a couple particularly bad serial films. But, despite this contention, a number of mobsters such as Vinny the String, Skinny Joe Lincoln and Zuco Banana turned up dead during the 1930s with the Lobsters claw burned into their foreheads.
The rumor is also that Lobster Johnson disappeared while in action during an Allied attack on Hunte Castle in Austria, where the Nazis were allegedly working on their space program. Johnson later resurfaced in 2001 when Ernst Oeming's corpse returned to earth after being shot into space in a Nazi rocket. He helped to defeat the Conqueror Worm and has not been heard from since.
