If you're a first timer or a semi-regular visitor to this forum I would kindly ask that you leave some feedback as to the content, design and direction of the main website.
Without this feedback I do not know how people view the site. Does it have the right kind of information? What other features would you like to see? Etc., and so forth.
So come on - register (you shouldn't get spammed - not by me anyway) and get involved!

Well, Marvel is a fairly (in)famous comic book company who are responsible for such characters as Spiderman, Doc Octopus, Green Goblin, Daredevil, X-Men, etc. to name but a few.
There existed some years ago a roleplaying system known as Marvel Super Heroes (both Basic and Advanced sets) which have maintained a fairly strong and loyal fan base over the years even though the system is no longer in production.
As for the types of games being run here- well, that depends entirely on the forum developing a large enough membership with individuals wanting to run games here, or eleswhere for that matter. The only game I have in mind at the moment is a neo-pulp setting - but it's still in it's infancy.
Hope that helps! SB

Heh, being red-green colorblind, these colors really pop for me. When I run across red text on websites, I allways have to highlight it to read it, so please, stay away from red!
As far as the website: I really like the interface, the art, and the content. Of course, LOTS more content would be best. More links to other sites, and specific links to resources would be tres cool. But I know, that takes time and OUR participation..
I'm not much of an online gamer - no practice in that field, so I couldn't advise on that. Maby some how to articles on online gaming in general and gaming on this website in particular?
Plus, Maps - People go crazy for Maps...

well... the colors... they dont seem too bad... but its a little bright... its bearable... but just barely... I agree... a google search for "color schemes" should produce something similar but less vibratingly headache inducing. Also, I think the forum menu and categories on the site are unclear. What the hell is "Dossier?" "Team" shows the registered users? "Diary" is the calendar? Very confusing for a first time user.

Heh. The neon green is a little bright, I must say, but I don't mind it too much. It makes the site easily recognisable. But as an artist, I'd say maybe a more pulled-together color scheme would be more aesthetically pleasing. (Not to mention cooler-looking!) How much can you customise the look of your board, anyway? Does Proboards allow you to be flexible? Whatever you do, Samaritan has a very good point--you'll probably want to avoid red and green, since a fair amount of people are red-green color blind.
The main site is great, lots of lovely stuff there. But maybe you should put a button somewhere on the board that leads to the main site, because I always have a heckuva time trying to find the link, and the board is what I have bookmarked.
As Decadent Prince says, the forum menu is kind of difficult. I personally am torn between ease of navigation and the innate coolness of what you have now. *shrug*
Also, if we get a bit more traffic then that's great. But I find that if you get more than, say, twenty people in a roleplay at once, then it gets a little crazy, and very fast. I did those for some time, and found myself losing interest after a month or so. It just doesn't work when you have to compromise post quality because you're afraid someone else will post within the next few minutes and ruin everything. I kind of like this--smaller, closer, and a bit slower. Just as long as it isn't agonizingly slow.

The forum can be 'skinned' with graphics, etc. to make it look ultra-cool but at the moment, due to lack of activity here, I do not have any inclination to put the hard work required into developing the site any further.

Eh. I wonder what happened here? Things were going along really well, until that whole server-rest thing, then it screeched to a halt.
I've even held off on even working on new characters for the A-X game, waiting to see if the game itself will ever pick up again, or if everyone's completely forgotten about it. Maybe we need a relaunch?

Maybe we need a relaunch? You may have greater success if you relaunch it on either www.groovygamers.com/ or rpol.net/ as they have a greater user base than this forum. You may also need to consider switching the system from MSH to something more widely used as many people sign up based on the system rather than the concept!
