"Guerro del Sol ?? Whatever.... Anyways, what are you doing here with my friend? Stand aside! I need to get him out of here "
"I was only trying to help him, I thought he was..well nevermind that he cannot be who I thought him to be if he is your friend. "
Antonio allowed the woman to push past him and watched her as she tried to uncover the buried man. It was not that she was having trouble uncovering him that provoked his next actions, but something else what it was he could not understand.
"Allow me to help, please" Antonio bent down and began helping unconver the man, he knew it would have taken only five minutes for her to uncover him alone but something inside him said that they did not have a five minutes.
Deep within Antonio's mind he knew what was going on, the fire was getting worse and the building was going to completely come down around them. Thoughts stirred around him as they pulled the man clean of the debris.
'I must have failed. I cannot find the family anywhere and we do not have time to search the rest of the building. Best case scenario, they got out earlier. I hope to HUITZILOPOCHTLI that they have got out'

Bengaline looked puzzledly at Guerro del Sol.
" You are searching for someone who is already in safety... Come on, no time to lose here... There is an exit back this way." She had secured Tomahawks head against her chest, holding his neck stable.
Guerro del Sol had helped her already getting Tomahawk out, now she was hoping he could help carry Tomahawk to the exit. The Fire was getting worse. They were moving as fast as they could towards the door, trying to find their way through all this smoke and fire. And then it happened: Bengaline's cape somehow got stuck, she couldn´t move forward. She pulled and pulled - if she could just get rid of that cape, but she had to hold Tomahawk with both hands. Suddenly, a wooden panel fell from the ceiling, knocking her cape free- but also catching her cape on fire.
"Guerro - please help me - my cape is on fire "

Khalifa watched as the colours of the three figures coalesced into a bright ball as their essences overlaid each other. He'd been relieved to witness the full return of Tomahawks life spirit to his body as the tendrils of light snapped back into place.
The three columns of light began to move away from their last position and Khalifa could only assume that the unusual spirit he'd detected was at least non-hostile. To assume it wasn't an enemy would still be foolish though. 'A man may sleep amongst lions but a lion he is not,' his witch doctor's words echoed in his thoughts.
Clicking open a radio channel he contacted his escaping spirit-brothers, "the Carlton's clear now you'd best get out of there now before the building collapses any further," pausing he continued "how's Tomahawk doing?"

Antonio could barely breathe, his lungs had finally started to complain about the abuse they were being put through. He was moving just as swiftly alongside the lady carrying the man who had been trapped under the rubble only moments ago, but he didn't know if that was a good thing or not given that he was not moving faster and she was carrying another person.
His mind was troubled, he could not shake the feeling that crept inside him and shrouded his mind in absolute horror.
'What if King Hernandez and his family are still in the building? What will I tell...'
His thoughts were interrupted when the woman's cloak caught fire. It was only a small fire for the moment but it was spreading quickly.
'What do I do? I have nothing to smother the fire with and obviously stop drop and roll would be deadly right now. Alright assess what I have to work with, ok practically nothing but...
The idea was so blatantly obvious that he was near ashamed to think of his stupidity for not noticing before. Antonio set his weapon down and reached around the woman’s neck to untie her cloak.
"I don't know how much this cost, but right now I'll bet that it is not as much as your life" he allowed an ever so feint smile to cross his face as he let the cloak drop to the floor. Immediately fire from the walls began to consume the rest of the cloak.
"We need to get out of here quick, do you know if the fire escapes are still usable?"

"You know, I am not too sure if they are... But we'll try... We'll manage I am sure".
One last sigh about losing her cloak and on they went. They needed to get out- and fast. Bengaline found the exit door to the fire escapes. Tomahawk seemed to get heavier and heavier in her hands.
Since her hands where occupied with holding Tomahawk, she turned her back towards the door.
"I am sorry, I know this is not very lady-like... but it will work..." and with those words she threw herself against that door.
With a squeal of protest the hinges and doorframe gave way and popped open, spilling Bengaline out backwards onto the fire escape.
"Does that answer your question?? it's still here!" Bengaline said, gasping for air.
With a huge *woomph* and a rush of air Bengalines hair fluttered wildly in the breeze as the furnace sucked in huge gulps of oxygen to feed the hungry flames of the raging torrent inside the building.

"It would have been a terrible shame if the staircase had not been there."
Antonio stepped out of the burning inferno of a building onto the fire escape and felt its sturdiness. The flames were now pulsating out of the building as more oxygen was being pumped in by the open door.
'It to will be compromised soon, with the searing flames. I must get these two to the ground before I can begin my search for El Presidente. I do hope and pray that he is alright.
Antonio had already begun to feel better, especially his lungs. He had not been in the building long before he had been hit over the head. He reached up and felt the knot on the back of his head. He pulled back a bit of blood but it was nothing compared to how badly he could have been hurt if he had not got out of the building.
"Lets go, we need to get off the stairs and I am sure that your friend their needs to get medical attention."
Antonio began moving down the staircase, he looked back over his shoulder at the girl to make sure she was going to be able to travel still with the man in arms.

The sudden snap of being pulled away from this dream-world left Tomahawk somewhat disoriented, and it took several long minutes before he even became aware of the very normal, physical-world sensations. Heat, warmth, motion...
"I'm moving... somehow... but I'm not walking... I'm being carried..." Slowly his mind began to register and realize what was happening with him, and around him.
With a sudden jolt, his eyes jerked open.
"Ungh... Ahh! Nahh! Wichàhpi Washtè!! Ohh..."
Dazed, he tried desperately to regain control of his motor-skills, but it seemed that his own body was rebelling against him. He tried to breathe, but the oxygen was not quite enough. He coughed and sputtered, desperately trying just to breathe.

Khalifa watched through his 'minds eye' as the colours of his comrades moved slowly amongst the swirling patterns of air currents, flames and burning timbers of the hotel building. Suddenly there was a huge rush of pale-blue light swarming into the vacated premises and a brightening of the dull red waves as the flames gobbled greedily on the new source of air.
Snapping his eyes open Silverback thumbed open the channel once again. "Please respond, what's the current situation with Tomahawk? Is everyone safe?"
The sound of collapsing masonry and screeching girders startled the young african as palls of smoke billowed out through the shattered windows of the hotel. Members of the fire crews and police ushered everyone quickly away from the building as pieces of masonry began to break away from the facade. Silverback wasn't sure how long the building would remain standing, if at all.

Bengaline was trying to keep Tomahawk in her arms. He was heavy and she was getting tired. "Whatever happend to gentlemen trying to help ladies carrying a big guy???" she said, looking at Antonio, while still happy that they had made their way half way out.
She saw flames fed by the oxygen snapping at her, she pulled him and herself away.
Then she heard something - it was Khalifas voice coming from the radio handset - something was going on - but the connection was so bad.. suddenly she heard noises, it seemed like the house was going to collapse...
She threw Tomahawk over her shoulder and started to walk down the staircase, wondering if there would be enough time to get down ? "You there!!!! Is there anything we can do to get down quicker??" she screamed over top of all the noise around them."Did he hear me???" Bengaline wondered.

Whatever happend to gentlemen trying to help ladies carrying a big guy?"
"Of course, I didn't know you needed help and I didn't want you to think, that I thought you were, oh nevermind."
Antonio moved a few more steps down before he heard what was coming over the handset the girl was wearing.
'The building is coming down, I knew it. We need to hurry, even on this fire escape if this building falls down we will not be safe.'
"You there !!!! Is there anything we can do to get down quicker??"
Antonio had to think fast 'Get down faster? I don't know if we can.' Antonio looked around at his surroundings. He was about eight floors up so there was no chance of jumping. He could not possibly conceive a faster way out of this mess.
He yelled over the flames back to the girl
"I don't think there is a way, unless you can fly?" The comment was a joke but if she could he wanted to know.
"I can probably carry him better, hand him here." Antonio walked up a few stairs and prepared to take Tomahawk off the girls hands.

"Oh thanks. Here he is." Benagline leaned forward and Tomahawks feet touched the stairs underneath, although he obviousely couldn´t support himself. She leaned towards Antonio and waited for him to get a firm grip on Tomahawk.
When she was sure Antonio was able to carry Tomahawk, she looked down.
She used her communicator to talk to Khalifa "Do you think it would be possible for someone to aim a water hose up here? I know I can do water walking, maybe I would be able to slide down on it? Do you think maybe that way Antonio and Tomahawk could get down too??"...She had thought about Antonios flying idea, but somehow that would only work for her and wouldnot help everyone up here.

The handset crackled into life as Bengalines voice sounded over the speaker. "If you really want to risk it you can always give it a try." Khalifa looked round quickly, "there's a lot of confusion down here so I'll have to try and operate the hose myself. The firecrews have got enough on keeping the blaze under control!"
With that he rushed round to the other side of the Carlton taking care to dodge the falling debris and flaming shards of material from the devastated building. Spying an unattended hose Khalifa ignored the protests of the fire chief and spewed a column of water upwards towards the location of his friends.

As the air outside hit him, Tomahawk could feel his strength returning with each deep breath he took.
"...Air... is good." he thought.
"*Kaff* Tomahawk is no used blanket to be passed around from one person to the next. Put me back on my feet, now[/b]." He said, more than obviously annoyed.
"I will take care of getting myself down from here- eight stories is not very high, after all."

Bengaline saw Khalifa aiming the water hose up towards the staircase, really the only thing she wanted was to get down - alive. Bengaline jumped over the rail, onto the water hose. "Just like water skiing..I guess". She was hoping Antonio could get Tomahawk down fast aswell...she looked up and saw Tomahawk on his feet, standing up "Oh I hope he knows what he is doing!" and with those words she slid down on the water hose.

Antonio allowed the man to stand on his own two feet, he was a little worried at first about having him try and do it himself but when he saw that he could do it he decided that it was best for the both of them.
"Are you going to be able to get down? I see your friend has already found a way." Antonio watched the girl slide down the hose, it was neat to watch, but the feeling of anxiety roared over top of Antonio's own amusment.
He had already begun to moved down the stairs with the man whom he had helped save earlier when thoughts of his "charge" interrrupted his concentration.
'I wonder where I should begin looking for Senor Presidente Hernandez? If he got out safely, no not if, he got out safely so he must be seeking immediate help from the doctors down below. I must seek him out, he might be in more danger than just a fire.'
Antonio focused his mind once more on getting down the stairs, he was traveling fast but he had to stop every now and again and allow cleaner oxygen to enter his lungs. The thick black smoke billowed out of every pore in the burning building.
