Can we have a character Gallery?
It would be added to website contributions.
This would be a non system listing of a character. You would give the character's history, personality, their powers (in generic terms), and a description (or link to image). Things that are campaign dependent would need to be explained enough so we could extrapolate something similar for our own campaigns.
This would be a place for us to post NPC heroes, villians, and neutrals for people to use in their campaigns.

I've been trying to stay clear of creating a biography section as every other superhero website does this to a greater or lesser extent.
If I get an overwhelming 'yes please' as replies to this thread then I'll bow to the requirements of my visitors.
Cheers SB

Given I like the idea but that I have asked for it on Auntie Petunia's site (in a round about way) I am going to throw my vote and nay.
Sorry, good idea but already in production on another site.

Actually I was hoping more for NPCs than PCs. Who needs PC heroes for their campaign, you have your own players for that. No I was hoping more for NPCs... that cosmic street mystic that occasionally taps the players for missions, or a lawyer that specializes in metahuman law, or Jones- a homeless metahuman who never needs to eat, sleep, and is invunerable to harm, or Candy a left over android from a Mad Inventor's attempt to take over the city with android duplicates (All were destroyed except her... now she is living on her own)... that sort of thing. Sure the occasional villian will fall into it, but mostly it is for color and scenario dependent non player characters.
Would you change your vote if that was the restriction?

If they were designed as part of either a mini-scenario or adventure hook?
That would be more useful I think.
Anyone else have comments?

These are characters that you would not be posting as a important character - hero or villian. However, they do have a place in a campaign. They are useful to have a stack of just "hanging around" should you need them. So use um all, we will make more.
This proposed thread would be for Minor (and Extras) for a Super Hero campaign. It might be acceptable for characters that would have subplots revolving around them.
Every Entry would have the following:
a) Name - The title of the post normally b) Summary/ Blurb/ Tag Line c) Description - Race/ Gender/ Age and quick description d) History/ Life/ Explanation - This is a minor character or extra, do not invest too much time into this. d2) Any Powers if applicable. e) Roleplay Notes... not always required, but nice to have. f) Plot Lines easily associated with the character... nice but not required. Link them to any plots posted here.
And if you need definitions...
Minor Character: These are characters that are of minor importance in this chapter of the character's existance. They are either minor villians (important minions, lieutenants, monsters of some note, lawyers), minor allies (supporting characters, non heroic metas, doctors, detectives), or Color characters (the local mayor, Local Mojo Guy, the troll beneith the bridge) The line between Minor Color Characters and Extras is a little fuzzy. It all depends upon the character's presentation to the players.
Extra: These are members of the background that fill the world behind the player characters. They are needed to give versimilitude and life to the game world the players are passing through. Any Extra character would be either a typical character or a nearly typical (just different to stand out slightly) character. The players might have a line or two of dialog with them. If the extra is interesting, there might be more interaction with them, and the extra becomes the springboard for minor subplots in the game.

I think this kind of concept would definitely be of value. The San Angelo sourcebook by Gold Rush Games has a few NPCs detailed in this manner and many more with single paragraph descriptions. Could be a useful starting point for the format - or any other similar sourcebook for that matter. I have created a new board for this Supporting CastSilverback
