Gee, how should I comment? What should I say? These tiles & the PG buildings work great with the game, add a nifty extra element to everything, bringing visuals and tactics together much neater and cleaner than a flat map can.
And the bold, detailed colors and such are just perfect for my SHRPG needs!
Only "issues" I'm aware of: the building fits are tight. Very tight. when using some of the heavier cardstock, there's not really enough give or room for error. If you stick with "standard" cardstock, you don't run into this problem.
The street tiles really blend together seamlessly much better than these humble photos are able to show- as I mentioned, my 3-year old kept wanting to rearrange the city, so it was "snap when ya can!" Of course, that was understandable, since I WAS using her pink car in some of the scenes... also a PG 25mm project (maybe not in pink, though, unless there's alot of demand). User-error with cutting the tiles out seems to be more of an issue than the tiles themselves.
That somewhat of what you were looking for?

That's fine. If you've got any tips and tricks for constructing/printing these items why not drop those off too?

My first response is... who do I have to kill/sleep with to get hold of these tiles & buildings? They look fantastic!
(...but I see you've answered that question already on the other thread!)
Second response: (counts squares on a tile) uh am I right in thinking those tiles are 8"x8"? If so those of us printing out on A4 are probably going to have a problem with them. I'm currently working on my own street setup and am hovering between 5" and 6" tiles as a building block.
Very nice looking building models though. They fit well with the Twilight City buildings.

The tiles are 200mm square using 25mm paving slabs to aid with movement in game. The scale was chosen to fit the d20 movement scale of 25mm = 5 feet which has 'dictated' the road widths used.
Shadow Viper has found the best option is to have them printed out at a copyshop where they can produce the photo-realistic printouts needed to show off the tile details to their fullest.
Not shown in the photos are three lane wide roads, roads narrowing/widening, bridge over a river, parking lots, parking spaces, roads with medians/islands, etc.
Hope that info helps. SB

Greetings,
I printed the pages out on A4, so I know for a fact that it works. I neglected to mention previously that I also mounted the tiles onto Foamcore, which really helps alot when arranging the tiles. I've been debating about the logistics about actually making 3d tiles, maybe with potholes or craters, but have yet to work up the courage to try it!
I'd taken the files themselves to the copyshop for full-color printing for a couple reasons: 1) my printer here at home really, really, sucks, and eats up ink like you wouldn't believe. 2) I actually get a really good deal on print-outs and copies at the one shop, as the guy who runs the place is himself a gamer. and 3) The photo-realistic quality of the printers/copiers at the shop is nothing short of amazing, and really brings out the quality and detail of these scenics.
The full set of street tiles is also astounding; SB mentioned a couple of the other tiles not shown in the photos; what he failed to mention is that there are also different centerlines and such available (dashed white, solid yellow, etc etc etc). Above and beyond anything else out there!
Hope that helps, -SV
