I've gone ahead and made a few subtle changes into the opening posts which needed edited...
I changed the titles from "needs editing" to "edited" for the ones I've worked on.
In some cases they're still a bit "clunky", imho, but that's largely because we were speaking with "quotation marks" instead of saying, says Tomahawk.
To try and fix this, I inserted the names where necessary, and put the names in Bold so readers could keep track of who's who!

Thanks Tomahawk. One other thing I will be editing is changing all the dialogue so that it can be read as if from a 'third-person' perspective.
A style which I think is easier to read and generally accepted as the 'norm' where PbP forums are concerned!

yeah, but whoever said we're the "norm"?!
j/k
by third person perspective, I take it you mean:
Tomahawk closes the door, turns, and runs into the wall *smack*
as opposed to:
I close the door, turn, and run face-first into the wall...
yes? no?

Oops - too sleepy when I posted. I meant past tense third-person! Tomahawk closed the door, it's hinges squeaked quietly as they swung shut, turning Tomahawk hadn't paid attention to the closed-in coridor behind him and ran *smack* into the wall!Is this better?

Perhaps... we could make a poll!
What would the readers find "easier" to read/ understand, what catches the "Comics Feel" better?

Honestly, i like both. Tomahawks sentence sounds more like "live ac tion now" and Silverbacks more like novel. so whatever it will be ! B.

On the Tribal board the preferred method will be Third Person, Past Tense with all dialogue in Present Tense so that the posts end up reading like a novel.
Other boards may elect to use a different posting method but I'd like to maintain a consistency on the board i.e we stick to the same writing/posting style.
